About LOTUSLAMP
LOTUSLAMP is the technical-solution series of an independent design house specialising in smart ambient-lighting technology. The series covers the controller hardware inside decorative LED lighting, the applications that control it, and the servers behind those applications.
The company
The company is headquartered in Huasui Building, Bao'an District, Shenzhen. It operates research and development centres in Beijing and Shenzhen, and branch offices in Ningbo and Zhongshan.
The LOTUSLAMP series of technical solutions is widely adopted by partners across the lighting industry. Products built on it are sold throughout China and exported to more than 140 countries and regions.
Light intelligence
The LOTUSLAMP series is developed under a principle of light intelligence: intelligence where it serves a purpose, simplicity everywhere else. The principle is applied in the design and development of each solution, and it defines three commitments to partners: quality that is reliable and stable, functions that are simple and practical, and solutions that keep pace with changing demand.
Values
- Technology: investigate to the root of a problem, judge it by the facts, pursue innovation from a stable base, and remain focused and professional.
- Customers: a customer's problem is our problem, and a customer's growth is our growth. Long-term trust is earned by protecting the customer's interests.
- Suppliers: a supplier is not a subordinate party but a partner and a source of strength.
- Peers: companies in the same field are fellow travellers as much as competitors — one flower does not make a spring.
- Colleagues: principles in work and a bottom line in conduct; professionalism in engineering and flexibility in sales. Organisational capability combined with individual capability is what endures.
Our vision is to build the future of smart lighting together with those on the same road.
What we make
Controllers. Four platforms cover most of the lights built on our hardware: Y96 for fixed-colour RGB strip, string and lawn lights; Y16 for addressable pixels; G01 for broadcast group control; and master–slave sync for fixtures that must run one effect together.
Apps. Lotus Lantern, Magic Lantern, LotusLamp X, LightsPlay, iMeshting and LotusScreen are published on Google Play and the App Store, all free of charge. Partner brands ship white-label builds under their own names. Which app controls your light maps every product category to its app.
Product categories. Colour LED strip and controllers, curtain lights, light screens, firework lights, Christmas and festive strings, eave and outdoor outline lighting, TV backlighting, sunset lamps and star lights, car interior ambient lighting, solar garden lighting, and functional lighting for stairs, cabinets and aquariums — around forty categories, listed on the products page.
Site contents
- Decorative and festive — how much light a tree or window needs, curtain-light variants, light-screen resolution, firework-light installation.
- Ambient and projection — star lights, sunset lamps, water-ripple lights, sound-activated lights, running-water effects.
- Strip and vehicle — strip length and power, dual-white wiring, TV backlight sizing, stair, cabinet, fan and aquarium lighting, car and motorcycle lighting.
- Apps and control — first-time pairing, colour-order correction, music sync, offline voice, and which app pairs with which light.
- Controller platforms — what each of the four platforms does, its figures, and the mistakes made around it.
Photographs and diagrams
Product and installation photographs are taken in our own workshop and test area. Wiring and layout diagrams are drawn in-house. Where an image is a category illustration rather than a photograph of a specific product, the caption states so.
